What is the main prerequirement course for PHP learning?

A brain and the ability to read!

If you mean what do you need to test php with and work with it, i guess all you would need is wamp if your on windows or xamp if you are on linux.

Windows = Server2Go, a USB Stick & Port, and Notepad.
Linux = aptget install...

If you're talking about a school course, you'll probably want to learn HTML and CSS first.

Any prior experience you have will be of benefit, but isn't required.

I also agree with knowing basic HTML and hopefully CSS before you start.

I don't think many, if any, of us learned PHP in school, so if you're talking about college courses, it's hard for us to answer. Schools usually teach languages that are more structured than PHP.

If there is a course where the primary focus is learning a particular language, whether it be Java, C++, or PHP it is typically an intro course (meaning there aren't any prereqs). I only have my own college experience to back this up, but usually they only offer one or two intro language courses and you're on your own for the rest.

Like Abel said, PHP isn't typically a language you learn in school, but if it were there probably wouldn't be any enforced prereqs. You might be expected to know some basic HTML.
