What's the best way to include a php page in html, I have a php page that shows randow adverts from a database which needs to be on the main site when the site is opened.

Using includes isn't for html, I have an index.html that i want include a php file in when it loads. That's why I posted in the html section of this site

You can't!

you can ONLY include .php files in other .php files or file extensions that are rendered as PHP.

Which is the reason why I moved it!!
