hiii frnsss.....

im new to php...

i installed apache server in localhost........

and i wrote helloworld code in php file.....

and when i tried to run the file....its not working...the browser is blank...

i saved the php file on desktop...i think that is the main problem.....where should i save in order to execute that php file.

please help me!

The PHP file has to be in the DocumentRoot folder of the server setup.

You have to save file in root folder means

Example: [c/d/e/f drive -> wamp -> www -> yourapp.php]

ok i pasted that file in the root directory.....

i got some other problem........

http://localhost/helloworld.php is now working.

but im getting whole code printed on the screen.....wat may be the problem?

i think you used "<?" (php short tag). Default wamp has this option disabled so, you will enable it from php.ini or use "<?php ?>"

it has worked....im sorry...actually i havent saved it in hdocs...thats the problem
