Currently I am working on a website which requires a coupon code functionality to offer marketing promotions. Does anyone know if this is something available that I may incorporate into the site or must I write it from scratch. Please advise and thank you in advance.

If you are using OSCommerce, there are scripts for everything imaginable. I suppose there are scripts for Zen Cart and the other off shoots. If you don't have the above you can take a look at Hotscripts (it's a long shot) to see if they have anything.
