Hello,

I am currently looking for a Content Manager for my Current site, but it seems there is nothing I can use to integrate with what i already have. Most of these scripts come with there own design, and i would like just a simple system to add content to my pages. I am sure there are some out there, but i am failing to find any.

its pretty hard you know... I think they've all got the same feature but you must put some effort reading on how to modify their CMS. instead, you can try to check http://css-tricks.com/php-for-beginn...st-simple-cms/ simple ones

Cheers!

I built my own CMS once, and it took me 6 months and was full of bugs. I built another one a few months later and cranked out a nice CMS in 3 weeks. Now I've built a functional forum (see sig ) with MySQL.

Moral: If you want something EXACTLY what you want, do it yourself , you can learn a LOT and you will know every inch of the code , and if it's good, sell it and makes lots of money

Many CMSs have common features like User registration, blog/page editing, category management etc.,

Please clearly mention what you are expecting from the CMS, which you want to integrate with your site.

Integrating with a stable CMS require custom coding, and you must ensure that all the security updates are integrated as and when the CMS is getting updated.
You can view demo of most CMSs at http://www.opensourcecms.com/
