I have to share something with you guys, that totally rocks.


Let me start off by saying that I have been using PHP Designer 2008, which I have been pretty crazy about for a while; but starts off at about 39 USD (currently)

Yesterday I found a PHP IDE called CodeLobster (http://www.codelobster.com/), that does everything (so far that I know of) that PHP Designer 2008 does, and is completely free.


it might not be as aesthetically appealing as PHP Designer 2008, but then again, it's not that hard to look at either.

Witch is a grate tool for quick editing. For more heavy Eclipse for PHP is good.

Eclipse PHP - too big - JAVA interface slow
PHPEd - made in .NET - fast interface
