so im not really sure on the response ill get for this but i figure another thread is another thread and this might be helpful for some other users

so the story goes

ive nearly finished all my subjects for the semester so ill have like 6 or so weeks of nothing and i'd like to try and learn something other than just html/css so i figure ill try some php

ive already done some real basic stuff with functions and variables and that type of stuff so im looking at starting a project but i dont have anything i really need to make

so im wondering

what were some projects you guys started off with and how'd you handle them?

When ever i start projects for some reason i always set my standards way too high for my skill level. By the time i think im "done" with a project i look through my works and stare with digust seeing how sloppy my coding was. Then I start back over and do a better job, then ill re do it again! you could start with a dynamic image script, to a login/register system, or even a basic blog or forums system.
