I don't know of any specific article, but the manual is a good place to start

What do you mean when you say software? Are you talking about an IDE?

You don't need any additional software to write object oriented code in PHP.

Yes an IDE that could semplify the work for better productivity with classes and onjects in php... do you know a specific one?

Eclipse maybe. I've never used it for PHP, but it is great for Java which, unlike PHP, is entirely object oriented. Maybe someone who has had some experience it can point out if I'm correct or not.
