Hi Guys,

Today my challenge is to create a directory using a database (no problem), but be able to use a search area to find the nearest result to that area.

For example, I live in Bradford. My aim would be to find the nearest location (in the database) to me.

How do I go about this, using a database or source code? I have looked on google and can't fathom out what to search for!

I guess you could use a postcode service. The Post Office offer up a postcode database (flat file I think) but its expensive.
