I want to be able to connect to my websites and have it all organized into a sitemap-type thing. I would also like to have it be able to connect to some other websites I like and display all the files on it, too (just file names). I know you can do it by using FTP, but I don't have the password for some of the websites I want to connect to. Basically I want to make a sitemap generator, that grabs all the files on a webserver and prints them out in a list.

Say I plug http://example.com into it. It should just echo out index.html. But for my site in my sig (not advertising here...) it would echo out index.php, forum/, index.php, thread.php, blahblahblah.

Can I do this? Thanks

Yes, just like a spider. But what if the webmaster doesn't have any links going to that page? That's how I plan to make my sitemap different.
