What is the best Newspaper scripts you know of that have the ability to both pull newsfeeds automatically, and that you also add your own News stories?

I want the end result to look as professional as: http://www.washingtontimes.com/

This one looks pretty good, but it's too expensive at $125/month: http://www.lionslight.com/cgi-bin/ht.../cms/home.html
I would prefer something where you pay for it once.

You could use WordPress with a Magazine style theme. Getting the news feed to integrate with it is easy also with a plugin like FeedPress.

There are a number of Magazine themes out there, and all with their own quirks and prices. You can probably get a decent one starting at about $30 and then upwards.

The FeedPress plugin is free. It can handle multiple news feeds, but I found using something like Yahoo!Pipes to filter and modify the feed output structure a little easier to deal with. Sometimes FeedPress displays the Html when it posts, so I use the Pipe to filter that garbage out.
