I have this pagination script, (yes, I've posted about this script a few times already ) that I want to add stylish buttons to, but I can't seem to find where to put the style code to get it working. Here's the pagination code:

PHP Code:
 <html>
<head><title>Reunite My Site - Animals, Pets, & Accessories</title>

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/css/default.css" />
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/css/paginate.css" />

</head>

<body>

<div class="gradient">

<?php

/* Include your code to connect to DB. */

include('config.php');

/* Your DB table name */

$tbl_name="amp_ads";

// How many adjacent pages should be shown on each side?

$adjacents 0;

/*
            First get total number of rows in data table.
            If you have a WHERE clause in your query, make sure you mirror it here.
            */

$query "SELECT COUNT(*) as num FROM $tbl_name WHERE ad_type = '1' LIMIT 1";

$total_pages mysql_fetch_array(mysql_query($query));

$total_pages $total_pages[num];

/* Setup vars for query. */

$targetpage "Animals, Pets & Accessories.php";     //your file name  (the name of this file)

$limit 1;              //how many items to show per page

$page $_GET['page'];
            if(
$page

$start = ($page 1) * $limit//first item to display on this page

else

$start 0;           //if no page var is given, set start to 0
            /* Get data. */

$sql "SELECT remote_banner FROM $tbl_name LIMIT $start$limit";

$result mysql_query($sql);

/* Setup page vars for display. */

            /*
        Now we apply our rules and draw the pagination object.
        We're actually saving the code to a variable in case we want to draw it more than once.

$pagination.= "<a href=\"$targetpage?page=$lastpage\">$lastpage</a>";
        }

//close to end; only hide early pages

else
        {

$pagination.= "<a href=\"$targetpage?page=1\">1</a>";

$pagination.= "<a href=\"$targetpage?page=2\">2</a>";

$pagination.= "...";
        for (
$counter $lastpage - (+ ($adjacents 2)); $counter <= $lastpage$counter++)

$pagination.= "</div>\n";
            }
?>

<?php

$result
mysql_query("SELECT * FROM amp_ads WHERE ad_type = '1' LIMIT 1") or die(mysql_error());

echo
"<table align=\"center\" border=\"0\" cellpadding=\"5\" cellspacing=\"5\">";

while(
$row mysql_fetch_array($result)){

echo
"<td>";

$f fopen('http://www.reunitemysite.com/scripts/amp/show.php?z=1&incl=1&ip='.getenv('REMOTE_ADDR').'&url='.urlencode(getenv('HTTP_HOST').getenv('REQUEST_URI')),'r');
echo
stripslashes(fread($f,100000));
fclose($f);

echo
"</td>";
}

?>
</div>
<?=$pagination?>
</body>
</html>
Now I've tried up top where this part is: $pagination .= ""; and I added the <div class="pagination"> to it, but all that does is change the text color of the pagination output, it's missing all the glare -- background color and round edges to the navigation buttons. I am *Absolutely sure* the pagination.css is the original and the path is correct., not modified at all!

Please help!
Thanks!
Brian

In one of the two existing css files would seem to be fairly obvious! Either change an existing style or add one and then apply it to the code that writes the HTML for the buttons.
