Ok,

I am building an advertising site selling (impressions, clicks, timed) advertisements and I have come to this problem. I have just a manager script for the advertising site, with the domain, web hosting, and pretty much nothing else, other than some (of what I would call) miscellaneous free php scripts that work with the manager (but not directly related to the manager script itself). The site is using basically a php page with a pagination script to display the banners nicely,..

However, I would like to build a bigger, more extensive site (with categories), but without spending so much money on a super powerful script.

How could I build a category index where it could easily be integrated into the ad manager script? Another words, I would like to be able to build categories where ads can be put into, but yet, it shouldn't be more than that. I already have the ad manager, just need to expand around the script. I'm sure there's a solution, I just haven't been able to find it.

Thank you
Sorry for long message
Brian

I believe I've found the solution, but first, let me test it. It's creating the category script from scratch with unlimited subcategories.

not quite yet on that one chris, but maybe when things get better for me.

Anyway, I'm still trying to get this working, and my php skills are *stillI* rusty...

I am trying to get the script on this site to work:
http://www.knowledgesutra.com/forums...ub-categories/

The error has been:
Code:
Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /index.php on line 15
This is pointing to the while loop, in both the files, index.php and sub.php. I can't for the life of me figure it out. If you have the mind to make me get it, please do...

Thank you!
Brian
