okay, but I have written some pages for a project i've taken and used htaccess to rewrite the urls.( I personally use Apache with mod_rewrite loaded on my computer ) I've not used ISAPI extension before but my client bought a domain and that server suppots ISAPI. So can I use same htaccess file or after making some changes in it?
Or do I've to start from origion? Cause, it's difficult to open up each page and change the urls ! I google for some time and found isapi_rewrite but i barely know anything about it. Any help for this?

I'm really stuck in here. What should i do?

Thanks in advance.

actually, i use windows with xammp. But my web host runs iis with php isapi ext. It doesn't have apache i guess.
One more thing, my web host use parallel plesk and it sucks.
I'm familiar with cpanel and it's so cool.

Plesk is fine for Windows server management, you simply have to used to it. I ran Windows servers with Plesk for a few of years before getting involved with *nix and WHM/cPanel and for me cPanel was a pain to find my way around at first.

PHP running as ISAPI on IIS (Windows) doesn't need the ODBC driver as it is already compliled into PHP but you may have to uncomment the php_mysql.dll entries in php.ini or have the host do it.

Plesk is just the management interface, it is the server that supports .htaccess and IIS does NOT use .htaccess as it is an Apache only configuration file
