Way to dig up an old thread, which additionally has nothing to do with your question...
Your code assumes that register_globals is on, which it isn't by default and never should be for security reasons. You'll want to use the $_GET global array, as in

PHP Code:

$result1 = FALSE;
if (isset($_GET['Submit'])) {
   // ...
   $result1 = mysql_query($sql1);
}
if ($result1) {
   // ...
} 


And if you're gonna call mysql_close(), you might wanna do it before the header() redirection.
