If you want one created to your specification I would be happy to create it for a reasonable fee. PM if interested.

Steve.

Be weary when selecting a mailing list script though. If the creator does not take certain precautions the mailer could easily time out before you send all your messages. Without going into alot of detail....

You should look for a script that opens a socket connection to the mailer (smtp or otherwise) and sends all the emails in one process. This will take significantly less time, reduce the risk of your host blocking the use of this script, and as I said before almost never time out on large lists.

If you can find the first two, the last option should be easy enough to add.

Why do you need another mailing script when phpBB provides a mass email function anyway?

It doesn't have a preview function
there is no way to exclude people or send either a html or text version to different people
actually there's just no way to use it for a newsletter

Usually your host will provide you with a newsletter option. Otherwise you may be forced to use a remotely hosted script that includes adverts (which are never good).

WHATEVER YOU DO ... don't try to manage the list yourself. I have tried that ... and UGG!! Not only that but then my server was attacked and I lost EVERYTHING!!!

ALWAYS HAVE A BACKUP!!
