You may be new to this, but a wee bit more information might help.

At this late point in the process, I would recommend you find an established program for this -- check out CBSSportsline or ESPN. You may get started now on a program for next year....

Maybe try one that has already been created by searching some popular PHP script indexes like http://hotscripts.com/ or similar. Since you're probably not experienced enough to make one on your own this be your best bet or a site which offers to create remote ones that I can't think of off the top of my head google might be helpful in finding it though.
