My brother has a filemaker database of his companies products, he wants these items to be available on his site...
Can you export filemaker to My SQL directly or indirectly(ie, from filemaker to Access, then to My SQL)?
Or is there some other way of doing this?

I worked with filemaker for a long time whilst I was an engineer, but it has never been a thought to try and create a script to convert to sql.

Filemaker is an office tool (not Microsoft Office before you bite my head off) and is not considered a database as such. It collects information into a file and stores it there.

If you want to convert that filemaker file onto a web database, look at doing it in asp, as this loves flat files. You may need to convert it to a visual basic file first, but the asp guys will answer you if you ask the question in their forum.
