hmm.. i'm doing a application whereby people can download files. when they click the link download, they would be able to download it through a zip file but then when i open up, they have this error "Error reading zip". This kind of error could mean wat kind of problem?

I take it the zip file is autogenerated?

This would generally mean that the zip file is corrupt, most commonly during downloads a lost packet will create an invalid CRC checksum within the file.

yeah the zip file is auto generated as in when the user download the file, a zipfile will be created using a class. Therefore in this case, it means that my programming got error? or is it that the file uploaded is corrupted? or is it that the zip file class is corrupted?

Most possibly is which problem then i can go abt to solve it but i not sure even what is the problem. Thanks for replying though

I would try using that zip class localy to create a zip file and see if it corrupts it.

hmm.. i have try on it locally. the zip file cannot be generated instead it show all this page with lots of funny character.
