Does anyone know how to make a script continue loading for X seconds before completing and passing the http OK status?

The idea is to simulate a timeout.

how about using ini_set() to set max_execution_time to something really low (0?). You could sleep() for 30 secs, too.

sleep() is exactly what i was looking for!
