Alright, I've got a problem with my comment display. It works fine usually, but when I deleted a problematic entry, it created a gap which made it so that the next comment ID was also a multiple of 2, so the backgrounds of the columns are grey, one above the other, rather than having the regular white space in between.

I want to know how I could resync this so that the ID's shift (or perhaps a better formula for my background color?)

keep a loop count and do the odd/even calc on that or toggle a flag on each loop

Could you help me on that one? I'm a little—no, very—confused about your meaning. Perhaps an example?

Nevermind, my dork self found out how to do it. Just throw a $i++ in the mix. Worked for my purposes, anyhow.
