Hi,

I've got a pickle here. I need to import data from a CSV file to a mysql database. I've done this plenty of times with mysqlimport however, here's the catch... I'd like to import this data and ADD it to an existing table without overwriting the table. There are also fields within the table which will not be updated from the CSV.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I actually think I have this figured out. Basically, it will be something along the lines of doing mysql import (which will take any text file and import to mysql) The problem is, some fields like "image" or "extra notes" are not included with the csv, this leaves me needing to create a seperate table, import the data into one, and use all of the columns to make a unique key.

I think i've got it in my head more than on paper... suffice to say.. it's working!

Thanks for your reply!
