can anyone pls help me? i have a PHP inventory program that doesn't "alert" me or warn me that i have only minimum amount of stock left in my inventory...... in other words whenever there a certain product has only 5 units left it warns me that i only have five units left like that or like if i had a stock of candies and then realizing that there are only 5 candies left it gives out a warning like "YOU HAVE 5 CANDIES LEFT IN YOUR CANDY INVENTORY PLS UPDATE YOUR INVENTORY" something like that...... pls help me i really need it in my thesis thank you very much in advance

PHP Code:

if ($stock <= 5) {
   echo
"You only have "$stock " of " $item_name " left";

Would you want it to be emailed to you? Or just show up on screen?

Yeah, depends what you want to do. You could have a real-time box displayed on the page that shows stock inventories at all times, and updates every time the page updates. That'd be pretty simple to build.

Do you have basic knowledge of arguments in PHP? Also, is everything stored on a SQL database? If so, then you could probably code it with your tongue. Answer these questions and i'll give you a brief example of a code.
