Hi,

I'm 'almost' new to PHP, have installed a few scripts and love it!!!

My Question.......?

I would like to test PHP Scripts on my PC... Before uploading them to my server to test!

I'm using Win98 and my web host the latest PHP & mysql versions.

What must I install on my PC [Win98] to run PHP and Mysql scripts??

Any help would be appreciated!

Regards

AFR

well ... you need a web server, php and mysql installed ...
since you are a newb i'm not going to tell you to install of those but i'm going to direct you towards software bundles:

apachefriends.org OR apache2triad.net

those both offer easy to use bundles .... i for one would go for the second one ... apache2triad by alex mancini

c ya and have fun

apache2triad also has some extra stuff that you might never need, and lacks the posibility of not installing components, on the other hand you can easily configure everything.

... and Uche please don't do that to my name again. it's eighter Omu, OCS or OmuCuSucu ... thanks in advance.
