I'm looking into learning PHP, but am clueless to which book will be a good place to start for a newbie and i was hoping you guys and gals could help me out.

php.net is a great place to start. Every function of PHP is documented there with alot of usefull example scripts.

Try http://www.hudzilla.org. It's an online book and I found it excellent.
