OK, here is my deal,

I am working on a website for a community I am part of and I need help on finding out how to create php pages. The two things I need to make are basically,

1. Somwhere where people can sign up and have a directory.

and

2. They can upload their video's to their directory.

Right now I'm working on the design but I have no clue as to how to make it as I just stated. Any help would be appreciated.

Not a problem indeed. But I suppose that there will be two problems after theis service goes live.
1. Disk space. What is average filesize of videos to be uploaded? Won't the server run out of disk space in a month after start?
2. Bandwidth. If there is a bandwidth limit then you may get overhead very quckly and will have to pay.
Also I doubt about how are you going to upload these files. Using PHP script for this purpose can be very resources-consuming, especially when files are large enougn (starting from 20Mb). It is better to build the system so that it automatically reconfigures FTP service on your server after adding every new account.

The videos will be around 6-10 mb. We currently have a service already but it keeps shutting down on and off. So from that site I'd say this is what we had...

about 20-30 member accounts and each member had about 1-4 videos in the accounts.

Edit: Well my friend linked me to this guy and his script works very well, not exactly the way I want though. If Anyone else has a link to something similar like this please post.
