This is my first time. I want to make sure it goes smoothly. I want this to be a memorable thing and I don't want to mess it up.

I am going to install PHP for the first time. I have Apache setup and working on my Windows XP computer and now it is time to get PHP going. I downloaded the binary but I don't know where to put it, where to extract it. I guess I will run it and find out.

Afraid I cheated when I installed PHP, I simply downloaded Xampp, double clicked the executable and sat back whilst it did everything for me
