I would like to know are there any .TPL files editor in the market?

So does any HTML editor, really, so long as it opens them. a .TPL file is just a HTML file used as a template.. nothing really special about it.

I personally use Eclipse + PHPEclipse plugin for my PHP dev, and there is an TPL editor, with syntax highlighting that comes with PHPEclipse

I found out how to make dreamweaver open them so will use that at the moment, I did look at Eclipse and I will definately get it, but I am on HughesNet Satellite and my FAP is at 50% due to updates so will get it either tonight when fap is lifted or another day when I have the bandwidth available....thanks for pointing it out it looks like exactly what I have been looking for for quite some time

If you want to edit HTML pages, you will need to install the web project plugin.
There is a specific plugin for eclipse, and it's that one that include the TPL editor.

PHP eclipse manual:
http://docs.schuetzengau-freising.de...xo-002&lang=en
PHP Eclipse plugin installation instructions:
http://phpeclipse.de/tiki-read_article.php?articleId=37

I must say that I use eclipse+PhpEclispe for almost 3 years now, and I haven't found anything close that match it (but I have colleagues that argues that I have specials tastes too).

I was so grateful for this thread...

If you are using Dreamweaver you can add file types / Editors so that you can work on your tpl extensions.

I found it by going to Edit, then Preferences, and then File types / Editors. That is where I was able to add the .tpl

Now I can work on my .tpl files... Good luck to all.
