hello to all, u might read my post and think ow god, not again or somethink, but i am new to all this and cant figure out how to make a member of my forum a MOD well i think i have made them a mod but there name is not green.. like it should be ? right? can any1 shed some light on this please?

It would help if you told us what forum software you are using - the process is likely to be different for each one.

if its phpBB, just go into the admin panel and change the permisions or something, i forget, i dont use phpBB anymore. just look in the admin panel like i said.!

phpBB you have to add them to the Mod usergroup. You don't have to do anything other with there permissions. The usergroup privs will cover everything that is needed. If my memory serves me right you might have to do both.
