Hello,

I did look but see no PHPBB software forum so I ask in this one. Its codes so I think I best drop a copy in coding too. Please feel free to remove one post as I don't want to appear spamming your lovely board.

The Problem:

I want to add Webstats code to PHPBB which my forums are on But no matter how I try I keep getting errors.

The Code:
Code:
<!-- BEGIN WebSTAT Activation Code -->
<script type="text/javascript" language="JavaScript" src="<A href="http://hits.nextstat.com/cgi-bin/wsv2.cgi?94882"></script">http://hits.nextstat.com/cgi-bin/wsv2.cgi?94882"></script>
<noscript>
<a href="http://www.webstat.com">
<img src="http://hits.nextstat.com/scripts/wsb.php?ac=94882" border="0" alt="Web Analytics and Web Statistics by NextSTAT" /></a>
</noscript>
<!-- END WebSTAT Activation Code -->
I have tried <head></head> Its a bit weird in PHPBB as the extentions are index_body.tpl

I just get parse errors.

Thanks for any help.

I think this goes in footer.tpl. It's been some time since I used PHPBB, but I remember this worked with statcounter's code.

I'm sure you'll get a great response here, but just in case, PHPBB's forum is located here.

Try in /*your-theme*/overall_footer.tpl

Look's like the coding forum's more popular than the PHP one you posted in

My advice is in the PHP forum - maybe a mod will merge the topics...

By the way, if in doubt, put your question in the most specific forum (i.e. PHP) only to save time

I merged the two threads. The coding forum is for things that don't fall into any of the main categories, so things like Perl, C++, Python etc.

Is that code you posted all that has been added? The code you posted is only HTML - if you are getting PHP parse errors then I'm guessing you may have altered another of the phpBB source files?
