can i use a find and replace software to edit my pages in real time i.e server side so i dont have to edit then upload all the files again , imt alking a lot of files 30,000+ so i could do withoout having to upload these files again , can you do it real time so it looks at file for word then replaces with word straight away on the server?

There are some editors out there that can update your pages directly on the server instead of on your computer and then uploading to the server. I've been using a free one (HTML Kit) for awhile that isn't everything I want, but does real time editing on the server well.

I've done search and replace on single pages directly on the server though haven't needed to do it across an entire site. I would think the functionality would be there. If not I know there a lots of plugins you can add to the program so there's probably something written for sitewide search and replace if it's not included in the program by default.

Yeah, just go to the page you posted. The download link is in the area on the left in the blue background. Once you have the program installed I think the help menu has instructions about adding plugins if you need one and I think it also has links to where to get new plugins.
