I Host with gisol and on their site they have this nifty little flash code generator... http://mygisol.webmastertoolkit.com/..._Intro_Creator I choose all the items I wanted and after a preview I generated the code (save this intro). It gave me two boxes of code. One it said to save as index.html and the other it said to save as content.php I uploaded these files to my site http://www.test.ipaintit.com and first I had just code and then I changed a few things and now I have a purple page. The html code is pretty straight forward and I have worked with html before-- but never with php.
This is code generated---> &flash_title=Host Students&flash_slogan=Change the world one friendship at a time.&flash_keywords=exchange,students,host,hostst udents, foreign, foreign exchange, foreign exchange students, study, english, learn, america, flex, yes, prog ram,highschool&flash_url=http://www.hoststudents.com&flash_paragraph1=*Hello *Hola *Oi *Ciao *Salaam aleikom *Lay ho *Hoi *Bonjour *Guten Tag
&flash_paragraph2=Host a Foreign Exchange Student!&flash_paragraph3=Hosting a foreign exchange student can be one of the most enriching experiences of your life. The exchange of cultures and ideas can open a line of communication... &flash_paragraph4= We have students from all over the globe hoping that an American family like you will choose them!&delay1=4&delay2=5&delay3=5&delay4=5&flash_in tro=Planet.swf&flash_music=Loop5.swf&flash_bgcolor =9966CC
After looking at all the forums I have found that this code must have php tags. So I added them---><script language="php"> to the beginning and </script> to the end of the code. Still a purple page.
Can anyone PLEASE help me and tell me where I am going wrong?? Please. It is such a cool intro page that I would just love to have it on my site----even if it does advertise for the company that generated the code:-)
I will appreciate any help you all can give me!
Sincerely,
Wit
