I Host with gisol and on their site they have this nifty little flash code generator... http://mygisol.webmastertoolkit.com/..._Intro_Creator I choose all the items I wanted and after a preview I generated the code (save this intro). It gave me two boxes of code. One it said to save as index.html and the other it said to save as content.php I uploaded these files to my site http://www.test.ipaintit.com and first I had just code and then I changed a few things and now I have a purple page. The html code is pretty straight forward and I have worked with html before-- but never with php.

After looking at all the forums I have found that this code must have php tags. So I added them---><script language="php"> to the beginning and </script> to the end of the code. Still a purple page.

Can anyone PLEASE help me and tell me where I am going wrong?? Please. It is such a cool intro page that I would just love to have it on my site----even if it does advertise for the company that generated the code:-)

Did you save the flash file and the music file (if any)?

I saved the entire code as a .php file Did you check out the site where I got the code?

well everything seems to be fine, except that the code cant find the .swf flash file. When you make the intro on that site it tells you to save the flash file and the sound file. If you have those in the same place as the page then everything should work fine

Gosh I missed that....all that I see that it tells me to do is this: "copy the text below and save as content.php" Where did you see that it said anything about the flash and sound? Slick please don't hit your head against the wall....BUT, how do I save those files (music and flash? Do I go into the code and get them.... I am so sorry for being completely stupid and I really appreciate your time. This must be such a no-brainer for you.
