Download apache from apache.httpd.org and php from php.net. They both have readmes on how to install each of them and then integrate.

When i tried to do this wtih the individual elements it wouldnt work despite having it working on a different machine. I would suggest for an easy no hassle install download easyphp from easyphp.org and it does it all for you and is far easier imo.

Maybe you're wanting a simplified Web Server, though if you're wanting to make it a better experience, then go with using XAMPP (WAMP/LAMP) from http://www.xampp.org the features it comes with is the only reason I would suggest them. Otherwise there are plenty of others who just offer the basic apache, mysql and php.

Cheers,

MC

Assuming you are asking to install PHP on an XP machine...
I'll second mastercomputers suggestion and say XAMPP.org.

I think I installed that once.

For a "How - To" that worked pretty well for me: http://www.wikihow.com/Install-Apach...n-a-Windows-PC
I've installed using this walkthrough on three different XP Machines over a year ago. Still working like a charm for me.

Good luck.
