Hi, I need a file uploader for my site
ive tried googling some stuff but cant find what i need
i need it to be able to check for size and format. not bigger than 30kb, and either JPG or GIF. after they upload the image i need them to recieve a confirmation email that there image has been recieved and also need it to email me ater a upload has been done. I need them to be able to input the 'file name' of there image so i dont get mixd up who upload what...

or you might be better off just using a gallery system that includes file uploading as well as the usual gallery features.

you could "roll-your-own", it's not that hard, there's loads of PHP tutorials about file uploads using forms.
