I hope this is the correct catagory for this question.

A client of mine asked me to set up a site for him with nuke and phpbb... simple enough.

He also wants a Blog embedded into Nuke... problem.

I havn't been able to find any pertinent information on a blog module/block/addon for nuke.

Anyone know where I might find a blog for nuke?

(I've looked in all the obvious places).... (or so I think)

checked nuke cops? googled it with several different queries?

if no luck then looks like you'll have to custom make the module.

also.. the news module could be used as a blogging medium right?

nuke cops wasn't of any help, nor was google... though I found a few entry's refering to a nuke blog, but they were all "comming soon"

Yes, it can be, and I've considered that. Though my client and his business partner both want to have a blog on the site... to make it more personal for their clients I suppose. At any rate they are fairly particular about it being called a BLOG also.

I've considered the journal also, though that would allow all users to have a journal, I don't think it can be limited to use by certain user groups.

Is it possible to rename a module? News -> Blog ?

Never tried, probably.

Just make a category called blog so they can put all their posts there?

are you refering to phpBB?

No, the news module in PHPnuke.

The category for news are run by the Topics module in it.

Hrmmm.... it's worth a shot, I'll play with it when I get time and let you know the outcome
