I recently re-wrote my main domain front page and now have a index.php file instead of index.html.
My url didn't find it without using a re-direct which I'm told shouldn't be necessary but it does work. My problem is now my sub-domains don't work.
Is this due to the redirect, the index.php or both?
Any fix ideas?

Does something need to be added here?

This is going to put me in the looney bin for sure. Oh the voices....the ringing.... oh, that was the phone.

Why is it that when someone tells me something has been changed to make it simpler it is always more complicated?????

The server is most likely set with a hierarchy that will search first for .html, then .htm, then .php

If the index.html page is still there, then it will be found before index.php and consequently will be displayed meaning you will require a re-direct to index.php. If it is there, try removing it and see what happens.

Not sure about the sub-domain question though.

Hope it helps,
Ian

Got it resolved as far as I can tell. Not sure what I did besides renaming a few things.
Thanks for the reply.
