I want to integrated forum in my website, can i download the php code for forum and intergrate in my website.

Before integrating i read the licence agreement (http://www.phpbb.com/support/license.php), but still not clear.

Should i have to take permission from phpbb.com or i can use it with any prior notification.

Please guide me.

You can use it without any prior notification to phpBB. But many people said that phpBB has lots of bugs and security issues. It may be because of it popularity and hackers tend to attack phpBB forums than other OS forums.

You should also consider Simple Machines Forum and Invision Power Board

phpbb if have more topic will have more problem, maybe you can use Invision Power Board is better.
