"News/language.db"

Is the News supposed to be capitalized? Unix and its variants are fussy about case... Other than that, make sure it is all spelled right.

good luck.

It was working fine with the cases the way they are before... there nothing that really has to be change, it just once the server was switch the PHP just whacked out and I had to reinstall the files just to at least have an error to show.... before nothing was showing.

I see... So this is a case of something working on one server and not on the next.. I'm having a similar problem. Well, hopefully I can help narrow it down: it is either

a. A different version of php
b. Change in the php or apache config
c. Formatting on your code..

Did you use some sort of wysiwyg editor? sometimes they will add or remove vital snippets of code with a mere click. Maybe you could post some of your code, particularly near line 38. Just don't forget to use the
PHP Code:

I didn't code it myself, it was just a php news update thing I d/l from a site which all I had to do was upload it onto the host then work from there.

the admin of the host the site is on told me that I have to change the script or program from referring to "site20" to be updated to "site24".

How do I do that? I reuploaded the files to the server again and again and again and it stays the same.
