Hi i have been developing a CMS for a site im making and want to Modularise it so i can have like a modules folder, i can put a dolder with all the module stuff in.

on the admin panel it checks the module folder for any modules not installed and then it can show a link which can run a install script in the module which will install all the Database stuff and that.

and also have the same kind of abaility to uninstall.

whats the best way to go about doing this? im clueless.

The first step, get familiar with OOP. You will need to build classes to handle all of the different tasks. It will be a mess if you try to do it any other way.

You can do it w/o classes of course but it will be messy and buggy most likely.

Follow some of those links I posted for you in the thread I posted about form validation...

As suggested by bhgchris, you need to learn about classes.

You should better study architecture of any popular CMS as well.

Hope this helps.
