I started to type out a reply to some of what's in this thread, but reading the whole thing, it seems to have devolved into a lot of name calling and recrimination.
I like these threads probably more than most people, save a small handful. There are some brilliant people here, and it's good to be challenged to expand one's horizons. But we're a web design / development / et cetera forum, not a religious or political one. It might be better if the ten or so of us found a place to air our differences without alienating the 247 people who've opened this thread.
