I watch all three cable new networks, for all the flak fox catches it isn't too terrible, there are for sure some pundits who are out there, but whenever their hour of the day starts I just change the channel to another network.
Keith Olbermann is biast too but his show is still fun to watch, its kind of silly/wierd compared to most the talking heads. MSNBC is definitely my favorite, its free to watch online, and its personalities, Chris Mathews, Joe scarborough, tim russert, brian williams, and even mr bowtie tucker are more interesting than wolf blitzer, anderson cooper, and larry king on cnn.

Sorry man. 3-4 times the viewership. Consistently.
The only real fall Billy's numbers took was during the sex scandal. He went from a 3.0 to a 1.8 rating. The really sad thing is, given what a true blow hard O'Reilly is, the libs STILL can't put something better on. Olbermann's show would do better if he wasn't directly endorsed by Moveon.org
Even O'Reilly will point out when he thinks Hillary is being unfairly treated, something Move-on would never do for a Republican(talk about an organization that truly fosters hatred). I turned off MSNBC for good the day Chris Mathews and Keith Olbermann "ambushed" Michelle Malkin on Mathew's Show. Zell Miller, a Democrat, got big points in my book(and many other peoples)when he practically challenged Chris Mathews to a duel on live television for his abuse of Michelle Malkin. I guarantee Mathews ratings dropped that day too.
On topic, did you all know O'Reilly is 6'4"? That guy he shoved must have been nearly 7' tall. Freakish. I think the show's ratings would pick back up again, if that female talk show host permanently took his place. Shes a firecracker. (Cant remember her name).

True enough. I hate to say anything positive about O'Reilly, but I've heard about this from other sources, and he deserves a bit of credit. O'Reilly defends Denis Kucinich, too, when the man's own party won't. On the whole the Spin Zone is exactly that, a place where Mr O'Reilly routinely attacks 9/11 Widows, but it is brave of him in a way the Democrats aren't doing to give credit where it's due across party lines.

The Obama staffer Bill O'Reilly committed the crime of assault against was 6'8" or 4 inches taller than Billy.

The only reason I think he does so well is because of the entertainment and shock value he provides. Just see some of these clips to see what I mean:
Bill and Geraldo:

Bill and Phil:

Bill and Stephen Colbert (although he doesn't get angry, it's still funny):

(Some of my favs. )

Plus there's about 1000x as much "T&A" on Fixed News than all the other "news" channels put together. Hot college girls in bikinis the size of a shoelace will get people to watch no matter what you're saying.

True enough. Megan Kelly is a true hottie.
James, I cant believe you posted the "Best of" O'Reilly on this thread. Prepare yourself to be burned in effigy(Do we have your effigy? Burger well done?). You are dead on with your analysis. Yelling and screaming are what the audience really wants. Jerry Springer knew it, the romans knew it, and certainly Geraldo has lived by it. I'll never forget the episode he egged on a skinhead, a guest on his show, to the point the guy broke his nose. SOOOO FUNNY .. and deserved in my opinion. Also good for his ratings.
The clip you posted with Phil Donahue I had never seen. Its funny to watch Donahue, who's viewpoints I totally disagree with, argue with O'Reilly. O'Reilly starts raising his voice and pointing his finger, horrible body language, while Phil remains collected and professional. It's no wonder so many people hate him. His attitude and body language just suck and if you've ever read the transcripts of the sex scandal, it tells you just what type of person he is.
I expected violence when Michael Moore went on, but Bill just sat there. Lost the debate to Moore too, IMO. So sad. Laura Ingraham. Thanks James. I disagree with her on a lot of issues, but it's hilarious, borderline uncomfortable, to watch her scream at her guests the few times she guest hosted the Factor. No-one talks down at people like radio talk show hosts. Most just cant make the transition to TV because TV doesnt allow them to mute their guest's microphones.

Hello All -
Interesting thread. I watch Fox. Bill's pompous and spinning when he says he's not, but I believe he also does some good. I like Anderson Cooper on CNN. I think you have to watch more than one to try and find the truth "in the middle."
By the way, the guy was obviously blocking the shot on purpose, which is just dumb. Everyone knows that all publicity is good publicity -- why prevent the candidate from getting exposure? And, I can't remember O'Reilly dissing O'Bama.
About Michael Moore -- he's pathetic. Not much more than a fat slob who makes money twisting the truth far more than FOX or CNN ever dreamed about. Health care better in Cuba? Huh?
