Pure comedy. You have to like it when the media plays favorites and it comes back to bite them. I read this article and it has the scent of real blood in the water. When this trial breaks loose in March, I think we will all get to know Mr. Obama a little better, and his ties to Syrian businessmen a little better. No wonder the guy says he would meet with Syria. Sorry if I sound a bit giddy .

You sound almost as giddy as Sandra Day O'Conner did before she helped appoint that guy who likes to kiss the hands of the bin Laden family.

Well, you got me there, though I think you'll find it difficult to prove the Bin Laden's bought Bush's mansion, like it looks the evidence is going to turn out with Resko and Obama's mansion. He would have been wiser to keep his shady associates at arms length. By the way, Sandra Day O'Conner was appointed by Reagan, not Bush Sr.. A judge who's personal views on abortion were pro-choice, considered the swing vote of the High Court, a judge who's nomination was opposed by most Republicans, her endorsement of the Florida decision tells you all you need to know about the righteousness of it.

I didn't see thisstory on the cnn or msnbc frontpage, seemed pretty far fetched to me, his ties to a syrian business man that the article describes as the middle east's version of donald trump, comes down to a formal dinner they may or may not have ran into each other at that was also attended by the state governer.

I do remember this from a week ago though:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/bloomberg/20...g/a_9sompy91js

"The couple who sold Barack Obama his Chicago home said the Illinois senator's $1.65 million bid ``was the best offer'' and they didn't cut their asking price because a campaign donor bought their adjacent land, according to e-mails between Obama's presidential campaign and the seller."

"The Obamas submitted three bids: $1.3 million on Jan. 15, 2005; $1.5 million on Jan. 21; and $1.65 million on Jan. 23, according to a copy of the sale contract shown to Bloomberg News. Obama received more than $1.2 million in book royalties and a book advance in 2005, the year he was sworn in to the U.S. Senate, his financial disclosure statement shows."

You may be right, though my understanding is Rezko was also his client during his term at his law firm. Also one of the principal funders of his early participation in Politics. Then he ends up moving in next door to the guy and buys a piece of the adjacent land? That is a hell of a lot of coincidence. Usually, where there is smoke, there is fire.
