Anyone seen this? HBO? I did some channel surfing last night and had a chance to see a bit of this, and I have to say, I found it much more entertaining than Hannity and Colmes(Sorry Fox). I've always known Bill Maher is a lunatic, but I didn't realize theyd given him his own show on HBO to feed the left wing lunatic fringe.

Of his panel, the most right wing person on it said he was making up his mind between Hillary and Obama. Tavis Smiley, on the other hand, was busy comparing Reverend Wright to Dr. Martin Luther King, while Mr. Maher was busy minimalizing Reverend Wrights comments as a non-issue. That was especially funny because Maher made two race based jokes on his show, both targeted at the Irish, but god knows he would didn't have the sack to make one targeted at black people. Overall, everyone on the show was so awkward and uncomfortable, it was stunningly desirable to watch. It helped clarify why John McCain still has a shot with the odds so stacked against him.

Also adding himself to the "I'm an Actor who wants people to avoid my films because of my political views" column was John Cusak, who ranted for almost a 10 minutes about the war being a "Protection Racket" due to the use of contractors who are profiting from it. All in all, it was comedy at its best, and I highly recommend it to any and all.

Wow! I had no idea the Irish constituted a race. I guess it's really easy to make a point if you don't constrain yourself to dealing with reality, huh? Just redefine words that everyone else understands, and you can find something to complain about in anything!

I'm not complaining. I thought it was informative and funny! I plan to watch it whenever I can!

He's had his own show for most of the past 15 or more years. You might want to get out more and pay attention to the world outside your own head.

Haha touche. As you suspect, my television channel is perma-locked on Fox News and only allows the channel to be changed to the Christian Broadcasting Network when Pat Robertson is on.
