For any of you who haven't seen Borat, it is a must watch. I was reminded of the movie this morning when I hear breaking news that top ten Al Queda leader Abu Al-Masri has died and I'm thinking, "Lets throw a party". It oddly reminded me of the scene from the rodeo where Ali G, in his worst english, announced loudly "I hope you kill every man, woman and child in Iraq, down to the lizards ... And may George W. Bush drink the blood of every man, woman and child in Iraq.". So wrong, but yet funny even if you are a conservative.

Then the let down came when I find out this Al Queda freak died of hepatitis, and I think, my god, they are dying of old age. This amid news, that Iran is installing 6000 new centrifuges in defiance of the international community, Israel announcing they will take care of the problem if pushed, the Democrats in the Senate once again working to legislate defeat amid positive news from Petreaus, Obama backing away from his "immediate withdrawl" statements, and Michael Ware of all people, saying the U.S. should stay in Iraq. It's reality TV on steroids, with Ali G doing the comedic relief.

It makes me wonder what the international community is really prepared to do about Iran.

I haven't watched Borat.

All impressions of Borat drive me insane.

Borat is some fictional jerk who isn't funny.

I hate Borat.

Do you at least watch the Ali-G show? That guy gets some fairly prestigious guests on his show to tolerate his outrageously crass sense of humor. Then he gets them to sing and dance, as he mans the turntables and Raps in the background, and girls in hot pants come out to dance. The man is a genius! Whats not to like. I swear to god, Borat the movie had me in tears. Pamela Anderson is the only guest star in the movie who didn't sue him, even though he spent some time in jail for kidnapping her on camera.

I love his Newt Gingrich interview. It's hilarious and unpredictable, in a somebody must have got LSD into the water supply kind of way.

No. I know what congress has been prepared to do, based on their history. No, I'm referring to the rest of the world who realizes that Iran is a threat and realizes they are working towards nuclear weapons, but sits paralyzed like a deer in the headlights watching it all go down.

Maybe the international community will do the same thing about Iran's nukes as they've done about Israel's?

Its funny to hear you make that comparison, like there is a comparison. With that viewpoint, you've placed yourself not only in a group of less than 1% of Americans who share your view, but also of the international community. One doesn't have to be pro-Zionist to appreciate the problem presented by Iran working to obtain nukes.

I absolutely love Borat and Ali G. I'm not such a fan of his other character (Bruno), though.

That movie was hilarious. It was absolutely crazy though; when I went to the theatre, the people sitting next to me sent their 7 year old daughter and put her on a booster seat so that she could see! I can't believe they did that... not sure if it was age-appropriate for her.
