Seems like Bush wants to make one last mistake before he leaves office, a US led US-Israel invasion of Iran.

What a joke. Obviously perpetrated by some Anti-Zionist. Of the two regimes, Iran is the one doing the attacking. Quite frankly, with Iran's hand fairly visibly involved in destabilizing the region and launching missiles into Israel, its a miracle they haven't already retaliated in some way against Iran. I think Hillary phrased it well when ABC News' Chris Cuomo asked her what she would do if Iran attacked Israel with nuclear weapons:
"I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president, we will attack Iran," Clinton said. "In the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them."
Hows that for a nice clear message.

As far as her saying "obliterate", is she referring to the use of nuclear weapons against Iran?
As far as I know, the US Nuclear Arsenal is only supposed to be activated as a last resort and only if a nuclear attack is launched against the United States itself, not its allies.

I believe the premise of NATO and MAD was exactly that. Attack one, attack all.

I don't know what MAD is, but UN and NATO are both useless as the USA pretty much owns both of them. ;/

MAD is Mutually Assured Destruction, something that scared the cr*p out of those of us living through the cold war, but probably also something that prevented the ICBMS from ever being launched.
I'm not sure you could characterize the UN as in the US's pocket since China and Russia have veto power and use it regularly to prevent sanctioning of those rogue states like Iran and N. Korea. I hate to admit it, but China finally getting serious about sanctioning N. Korea after their Nuclear Detonations probably had more to do with N. Korea "abandoning" their nuclear program than anything Dubya did. The U.N., in it's current format, is pretty useless and probably should be done away with in favor of something that could be realistically effectual in policing our ever shrinking planet.
I also doubt you could characterize NATO as in the US's pocket. NATO was setup to counter the Red threat and I have my doubts as to whether many of it's participants would really live up to their obligations should a member nation fall under attack. Israel is not currently a member but probably should be given Iran's stated desire to wipe it from the map. Even if no one stepped in to help Israel, they allegedly have nukes and I have no doubt they will retaliate with them if nuked by Iran. I wonder how we will all feel about ourselves as President Obama sits aside and lets that happen.

The no bid oil contracts in Iraq were a pretty substantial mistake. Thanks, Bush! The whole Middle East thought we were out to steal their oil - GWB confirmed it.

I never thought that it was about much more than oil.. Not sure why anyone else would have.. There are plenty of places we could invade for the same reasons used in Iraq, but none of them have oil.. So we don't bother with them..
Why drill for our own oil when we can have theirs??

Because Bush and Cheney swore on a stack of Bibles that it wasn't. I've always agreed with you that they're liars to the core, but I think the 1950s belief that you can trust what your president says is the reason anyone else would have thought the Iraq occupation was about WMD, humanitarianism, Saddam hating puppies, or anything else other than oil.

Hell, Carter would have invaded Iraq if he had more than the one nut.

AS usual I support Iran, like I supported Iraq last time.
I wonder what is wrong with Iran's nuclear test, if the test itself is the problem, then I see plenty of reasons to Attack the US.

Without getting into the merits or lack of merits of the article, you all did notice the article in question is a little over 3 years old didn't you?

Hey, the US is the biggest terrorist.
If you people stop poking your noses in public, then we won't retaliate.
I'm NOT EMBRACING TERRORISM.
GET that in your head fisrt.
Not all Asians are terrorists.
Now don't tell me, we aren't Asians, we are Middle-Easterers and all that crap.
We are Asians as well, and we are not terrorists.
I will support Iran, even if the US is torturing me.

Will you support Iran when the majority of Iranians don't?

What proof is there that Iranians don't?
I will never support USA if it is attacking any Asian country.

The question was hypothetical, although it is clear Iran is turning into a dictatorship as they ousted any moderate candidates from the last election. Dictatorships are usually not supported by the majority of the populace. So I ask again, will you support Iran when the majority of Iranians won't?

So you feel the invasion of Japan was wrong in 1944? Do you support the invasion of Afghanistan?

Do you feel safe that Iran, that hates us, holds the key to cripple our country at anytime by cutting our oil supply.

Yes, there was no need to so many innocent Japanese CIVILLIANS.
Someone justified it by saying, hundreds of Americans were saved.
So what, every other country starts giving up their lives so that the USA can live?
Why can't it be the opposite?
