While pandering to the "I lost my toe in an accident, involving a gun and some booze I made in the bathtub" demographic, Joe Biden put his foot in his mouth. There are Bushisms, and there are Bidenisms.
Joe Biden threatened his running mate with a beretta shotgun. Of course handgun != shotgun, but that's almost beside the point. The real gaffe is that Biden is threatening to emmulate Dick Cheney! Well, not exactly - if Biden ever does shoot Obama, it won't be after mistaking him for an 8 inch bird.
