Actually the "Most corrupt state in the union" title belongs to Louisiana/New Orleans. Katrina made that glaringly obvious. Thankfully, Bobby Jindal is cleaning it up.

A la Fixed News - which is almost as credible as Pravda,

Quote:
Sarah Palin's spokeswoman on Friday denied the stream of accusations leaking out of John McCain's campaign about the Alaska governor's alleged incompetence, calling the charges "sickening."
Meghan Stapleton was responding to several reports that have surfaced since Election Day about the tensions between McCain's running mate and his staff.
Campaign officials apparently had doubts about her preparedness to run for vice president.
Sources told FOX News, for instance, that Palin did not realize that Africa was a continent, not a country, and could not name the countries who had signed the North American Free Trade Agreement.
Palin herself brushed off the finger-pointing Wednesday, saying she wouldn't engage "any of the negativity" or "pettiness" from anonymous sources.
Stapleton released a written statement Friday calling the charges "unfortunate and, quite honestly, sickening."
"The accusations we are hearing and reading are not true and since we deny all these anonymous allegations, there is nothing specific to which we will respond," she said. "We have the highest regards for Senator John McCain. Governor Palin was honored to be chosen as McCain's running mate."

Wow newb. Your only 36 hours late. Your transcript is from the video link I posted yesterday. I personally find the quote credible, though given the number of sexist topics the "Top McCain Staffer" hit her on, I'd say he/she definitely had a personal ax to grind and was more than happy to exaggerate if not fabricate the "truth". Whatever staffer leaked that ought to be shot for darwinian reasons if no other. His/her career is over when the name is released. Nothing like deciding you, your campaign, your candidate, and your party should take a nice bath in sh*t. DONE.
