This, to me, is one of the most important battles to fight. Okay, so it's not as broad and painful as fighting the battle against Israel's apartheid, but hey, this is really very vital and if good people don't fight this battle, things will go severely downhill for humanity before we can get back our souls...

The issue, as many of you know, is the government's new methods for actually banning live music other than with very rigid 'booking' procedures. This is a major problem for the spirit of spontaneity and goog gigs. I know lots of musicians and some have been up in arms about this for ages, but the fact is we can overcome it. And I will put resources into doing so. I know many people on this site love music (webmasters usually do love music, it's our chief source of company as we work).
Do you know "anti-terror" laws were used the other day to close down a SCHOOL CONCERT, which was RAISING MONEY FOR CHARITY - because the artists were not registered with the police/government in advance and this contravened the new legislation, designed to "stop terrorism".
It is worth mentioning the school was predominantly poor people, and the musical artists were largely black.
But they can't stop me playing music at home, live, loud and proud. Here, for example, are some favourite black singers of mine, from that notorious African State, Wales itself (Cymru?)
