anybody ever broken up with a significant other over politics? my girlfriend and I share very different political views and that has resulted in some very heated arguments over the years

I personally havent, but i have seen others. My husband and I tend to talk about politics, but we respect each other's view and don't try to change the other's opinions. it seems to work out for the best.
