Who here is agnostic? I personally share this idea for a couple of years now. I was deeply religious as a young, then theist and after that agnostic. Never turned atheist, which some say its the logical next step.

yes, I would class myself as an agnostic. I went to Sunday school when I was a kid, but no major religious influences on my life. I'll happily accept the possibility of a God of some description, but to me it's a VERY slight possibility: I'm 99.9% sure there isn't one. But I could be wrong.

I'm along the lines of Agnostic but leaning towards belief in the supernatural of some sort...what that supernatural exactly is I'm not so sure. The ghost stories and all come to mind, but the way I see it I wouldn't want to tamper with dark material, even if it is there.

It seems to me that astral projection just might be possible. If it exists, it's the ultimate way of finding out the truth.

It could be argued that as a theist who admits he can be wrong I'm automatically an agnostic. Never was much for hard-liners of any school of thought, be it theist, atheist or some other philosophical bent.

So, what do you call an apathetic agnostic?

Don't know, don't care.

Or there's always the case of the dyslexic agnostic insomniac: someone who stays awake all night wondering if there is a Dog.

I have a friend whose agnostic and I respect his point of view for staying at the middle of the line if God truly exist. I hope someday he will finally find the right answer for his questions on what should to believe.
